In the UK, electric bikes fitted with motors exceeding 250w, capable of speeds greater than 15.5mph, or equipped with a throttle, are not classed as standard EAPCs (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles). Such vehicles may only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission and must not be used on public roads, cycle paths, or any other publicly accessible areas.

Choosing the right fit
- Rider height — the recommended height range ensures you can comfortably reach the handlebars and the ground when stopped.
- Standover height — you should be able to stand over the top tube with at least 2–3 cm of clearance when flat-footed.
- Handlebar height — adjustable handlebars let you fine-tune the riding position for comfort. A more upright position is better for city riding; lower is more aerodynamic for longer distances.
- Max rider weight — do not exceed the maximum load. Overloading affects range, performance, and tyre wear, and may invalidate warranty.

We aim to keep delivery clear and predictable. Shipping times can vary depending on stock status, delivery location, and courier scheduling.
Stock status & dispatch timing
- In Stock: once your order is confirmed, dispatch typically begins within 2 business days (shipping usually starts on the 3rd business day after confirmation).
- Pre-sale / Pre-order: please check the product page for the latest estimated shipping timeframe.

UK delivery timeframe
- Orders are shipped from a UK warehouse or directly from our EU fulfilment partner depending on the product.
- Typical delivery time is approximately 3–7 working days after dispatch.
- Remote areas and islands are excluded from standard delivery time estimates — please contact us before ordering.

Important delivery details

- For larger items shipped by BJS Two Man Home Delivery, the driver may contact you by phone to arrange a delivery time window.
- The courier is assigned based on your delivery address — a specific carrier cannot be requested.
- Smaller items are shipped via DPD or FedEx with automated tracking notifications.
Changing your delivery time (BJS deliveries)
- You may be able to change the delivery time free of charge by contacting BJS on 01922 645 650.
- To avoid additional charges, request the new delivery slot at least 1 day before the agreed delivery time.
- If the delivery time is changed within 24 hours of the agreed slot, a re-delivery charge may apply.
When re-delivery charges may apply
- If a delivery time has been agreed and nobody is available to receive the goods, the parcel may be returned to the warehouse.
- In this case, you may need to pay a re-delivery cost.
- To help avoid this, you may arrange for a family member or neighbour to sign for the delivery where appropriate.
Remote area surcharge
Remote areas may incur additional shipping charges. Standard free shipping policies may not cover this extra freight cost. If applicable, you will be contacted after placing your order with details of any additional shipping fee. Please monitor your email after checkout.

Is this e-bike road legal in the UK?
To be road legal in the UK, an e-bike must meet EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) regulations — motor up to 250W rated, maximum assisted speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h), and pedal assistance only (no throttle, or throttle limited to walking speed only). Please check the Full Specs tab for this model's road legal status. If you are unsure, contact us before purchasing.
How far can I travel on a single charge?
Range depends on your weight, terrain, assist level, speed, temperature, and tyre pressure. The claimed range in the Full Specs tab is measured under ideal conditions — real-world range is typically 20–40% lower. Using a lower assist level significantly extends range. For the longest range, use Eco or Level 1 assist on flat ground.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Charging time depends on the battery capacity — check the Full Specs tab for this model. Most e-bikes in our range take 4–8 hours for a full charge. We recommend charging after each ride rather than waiting until the battery is fully depleted to extend battery life.
Do I need a licence or insurance to ride it?
If the bike is road legal (EAPC compliant), no licence, registration, or insurance is required. If the bike exceeds EAPC limits — higher motor power or throttle — it is classified as a moped and requires a licence, registration, MOT, and insurance. Check the road legal status in the Full Specs tab or contact us for guidance.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Most of our e-bikes have an IPX4 or higher waterproof rating, making them suitable for riding in light to moderate rain. We do not recommend riding in heavy rain or submerging any components. Always check the waterproof rating in the Full Specs tab for your specific model.
What size rider does this bike suit?
Check the Size & Fit tab for recommended rider height and key dimensions for this model. If you are between sizes or have specific requirements, visit our Birmingham showroom for a proper fit assessment before purchasing.
Does it come assembled?
E-bikes are delivered partially assembled — typically the handlebars, pedals, and front wheel need attaching. Full assembly instructions are included. If you would prefer a fully assembled bike, collect from our Birmingham showroom and our workshop team will complete the setup for you.
Can the battery be replaced when it wears out?
Yes. Replacement batteries are available through eRIDEJUNCTION for all models we stock. Battery lifespan is typically 500–800 charge cycles. Contact us on 0121 724 0393 or WhatsApp 07387 386786 to order a replacement battery.
What warranty is included?
All e-bikes we sell include a manufacturer warranty — typically 12 months on the electrical components and frame. As an authorised dealer, eRIDEJUNCTION handles warranty claims directly. Contact us on 0121 724 0393 rather than approaching the manufacturer yourself.
Can I get it serviced in Birmingham?
