The Pure Air 5 Ultra is the long-range evolution of the much-loved Pure Air 2 family. It keeps the trusted Pure Air design but adds a 48V battery system, more powerful motor and dual suspension to create a true long-distance scooter for UK riders.
With up to 58.2mi (around 94km) range in ideal conditions, a 500W motor (1201W peak) and 10" tubeless tyres, the Ultra is built for riders who want to go much further between charges while still enjoying a stable, comfortable ride.
If you liked the solid, all-weather feel of Pure Air 2 and Pure Air 2 LR, the Air 5 Ultra is the natural upgrade – more power, more range and more comfort for regular commuting.

Essential Care Plan – £149/year Free labour on all repair work for 12 months on this scooter, plus 50% off parts not covered by the manufacturer warranty (for example tyres, tubes, brake parts, mudguards and more).
Comprehensive Care+ Plan – £249/year Our highest level of cover. For 12 months you pay nothing for labour or parts on this scooter – including the battery – subject to fair use and normal commuting or leisure use. If something goes wrong, you bring the Ultra to our Birmingham workshop and we fix it.
Plans are available only on scooters purchased from eRIDEJUNCTION and must be activated near the time of purchase. Full terms and conditions are available on request.

Choosing the right fit
- Rider height — the recommended range ensures you can comfortably reach the handlebars and maintain a natural upright posture while riding.
- Handlebar height — many models have adjustable handlebars. A handlebar at roughly hip height gives the most natural and controlled riding position.
- Deck size — a wider, longer deck gives more foot room and stability. Check the deck dimensions if you have larger feet or prefer a wider stance.
- Folded size & weight — if you need to carry the scooter on public transport or store it in a small space, check the folded dimensions and weight carefully.
- Max rider weight — do not exceed the maximum load. Overloading reduces range, affects braking, and may invalidate warranty.

UK delivery timeframe
- Orders are shipped from a UK warehouse or directly from our EU fulfilment partner depending on the product.
- Typical delivery time is approximately 3–7 working days after dispatch.
- Remote areas and islands are excluded from standard delivery time estimates — please contact us before ordering.

Important delivery details

- For larger items shipped by BJS Two Man Home Delivery, the driver may contact you by phone to arrange a delivery time window.
- The courier is assigned based on your delivery address — a specific carrier cannot be requested.
- Smaller items are shipped via DPD or FedEx with automated tracking notifications.
Changing your delivery time (BJS deliveries)
- You may be able to change the delivery time free of charge by contacting BJS on 01922 645 650.
- To avoid additional charges, request the new delivery slot at least 1 day before the agreed delivery time.
- If the delivery time is changed within 24 hours of the agreed slot, a re-delivery charge may apply.
When re-delivery charges may apply
- If a delivery time has been agreed and nobody is available to receive the goods, the parcel may be returned to the warehouse.
- In this case, you may need to pay a re-delivery cost.
- To help avoid this, you may arrange for a family member or neighbour to sign for the delivery where appropriate.
Remote area surcharge
Remote areas may incur additional shipping charges. Standard free shipping policies may not cover this extra freight cost. If applicable, you will be contacted after placing your order with details of any additional shipping fee. Please monitor your email after checkout.

Are electric scooters legal to ride on UK roads?
As of 2025, privately owned electric scooters are not legal to ride on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes in the UK. They can only be legally ridden on private land with the landowner's permission. Government trials of rental scooters in certain cities are separate and do not apply to privately owned scooters. eRIDEJUNCTION sells scooters for private land use only.
How far can I travel on a single charge?
Range depends on rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, and tyre pressure. The claimed range in the Full Specs tab is measured under ideal conditions — real-world range is typically 20–40% lower. Riding at full speed significantly reduces range. For maximum range, ride at a moderate speed on flat ground.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Charging time depends on battery capacity — check the Full Specs tab. Most scooters in our range take 4–8 hours for a full charge. Some models support fast charging. We recommend charging after each use rather than fully depleting the battery to extend its lifespan.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Most of our scooters have an IPX4 or higher rating, suitable for light rain. We do not recommend riding in heavy rain, through puddles, or in flooding. Always check the waterproof rating in the Full Specs tab for your specific model and avoid washing the scooter with a hose or pressure washer.
How do I fold and carry it?
All scooters in our range feature a quick-fold mechanism — typically a lever or latch at the base of the stem. Folded dimensions and weight are listed in the Size & Fit tab. If you need help folding your scooter after purchase, our workshop team is happy to show you in person.
What is the maximum rider weight?
Maximum load is listed in the Full Specs tab for each model. Most scooters in our range support 100–120 kg. Riding above the maximum weight reduces performance, range, and can damage the scooter — it also affects warranty validity.
Does it come assembled?
Scooters are delivered mostly assembled — typically only the handlebars need unfolding and tightening. Full setup instructions are included. If you collect from our Birmingham showroom, our team will complete the setup and show you how everything works.
Can the battery be replaced when it wears out?

What warranty is included?

Can I get it serviced or repaired in Birmingham?
